COMPANY OVERVIEW: Blacksmith Institute is a New York-based non-profit dedicated to abating the effects of toxic pollutants in middle- and low-income countries.
PROJECT GOAL: Assist a grant-writing team to secure funds to partner with local organisations to clean up chemical waste and prevent future recontamination.
PROJECT OUTCOMES:
+ Collaborated with an assigned team on the submission of a $3.5 million European Commission grant proposal, and a $1.5 million Asian Development Bank grant proposal
+ Drafted 2013 GAHP Annual Report and project completion reports; edited grant proposals and templates by reorganising information, rewriting success stories, and copyediting
