COMPANY OVERVIEW: The International Research Institute for Climate and Society is the New York-based research arm of Columbia University that aims to enhance society’s capability to understand, anticipate and manage the impacts of climate in order to improve human welfare and the environment, especially in developing countries.  

PROJECT GOAL: Make climate information relatable and available to the masses in the Caribbean.

PROJECT OUTCOMES:

Analysed the climate-health nexus and identified key trends and areas of concern to public health for 5 Caribbean nation governments
+ Successfully launched an educational public outreach awareness website relaying the effects of a changing climate on societal health, in non-technical terms
