COMPANY OVERVIEW: The IXL Innovation Olympics is a global innovation consulting case competition. The Innovation Olympics is a ten-week action learning program where teams are paired with companies looking to innovate. Teams from 5 graduate schools worldwide meet and work with the client’s senior executives to solve complex challenges.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Led and collaborated with the 4-person Ohio State University team on a challenge to propose an innovative growth solution for a major national gas station and convenience store chain (500+ stores; $7B revenue).

PROJECT GOAL: Increase client’s revenue by 7% in the next 5 to 10 years

PROJECT OUTCOMES:
+ Developed a comprehensive business plan backed by a robust financial model to diversify client's portfolio and increase revenue by 28% in 5-10 years
+ Identified 5 actionable Fields of Play (opportunity spaces) that client could innovate in
+ Conducted proof of concept testing by surveying shoppers, conferring with industry experts and studying industry trends
